Lily Allen has admitted she is "spiralling" after calling time on her marriage to David Habour.

Hitmaker Lily, 39, has been causing concern with fans after she posted a series of "depressing" messages. It comes after she was spotted on celebrity dating app Raya, confirming that the couple had indeed parted ways.

The singer has now admitted that she has been "not in a good place" since the pair called their marriage quits. The shock split has reportedly left Lily suffering from chronic panic attacks, and she is now stepping back from her work commitments to address her "pain".

Mum-of-two Lily said that she will not have any access to her phone as she takes her break. Chatting with her Miss Me podcast co-host Miquita Oliver, the Smile singer said: "I’m finding it really hard to be interested in anything; I’m really not in a good place.

"I know I’ve been talking about it for months but I’ve been spiralling and spiralling and spiralling and it’s got out of control," she candidly confessed. "I came to the Miss Me Christmas lunch and had a panic attack and had to go home.

"I went to see something at the theatre the other night with my friends Carla and Claire and I had to leave at half time. I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain that I’m going through."

Lily tied the knot with Stranger Things icon David Harbour in 2020, but not admitted that following their shock split everything has been "really hard" for her to deal with. She added that she was looking forward to ditching her phone for some time, adding that the negatives were outweighing the benefits of having one.

Miquita, for her part, praised Lily for her move to get rid of the phone, and claimed that no one should have a phone, going on to say that all devices should "go in the bin". Lily agreed saying that technology - and especially social media - had "f***** everything" including the arts and democracy.

David and Lily's split emerged before Christmas, after a whirlwind four-year long romance. The couple had seemed to be happy together, but reports had claimed that the pair had been living separate lives for months.

Fans were immediately concerned that Lily had started taking narcotics once again, leading to her addressing the situation outright, saying: "I've not relapsed." As a result, while the exact whereabouts of where Lily will be are not fully known, it has now been confirmed she is not heading into rehab.

"I know there's been some horrible blind items on the internet about me being found by my husband in a crack den, surrounded by men," she said. "I don't know who is spreading these vicious rumours but it's not true."
