Okay, remember earlier this year when sources told Us Weekly that the legendary Ann-Margret gave Lindsay Lohan her blessing to play her in a biopic about her life? Well, yeah, that was true, and apparently, the famous gals are in talks about the “intense” project.
In a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live via Entertainment Weekly, Andy Cohen asked Lohan about the alleged project, asking, “Are you working on that? I know she gave her blessing for you to star in it.”
She instantly replied, smiling, “We’re working on the story. It’s exciting, yeah!”

This is not a drill! It’s happening, and they’re working on it, and apparently, it may get “intense” with the dancing Lohan may have to do. “I know, it’s gonna be pretty intense,” she said to Cohen. “It has to be the way she wants it to be, so I really want it to be special in that way.”
The insider told Us Weekly earlier this year that Lohan “feels she’s the only one who can play the part” and that this biopic could “take her career to the next level.” And Lohan actually talked about these feelings in an interview with Bustle. “I really want to play Ann-Margret, and we’re trying to find a writer for that story,” she said. “She’s a triple threat, and she’s an amazing woman on top of that. So I just really want to do her justice and help tell a great story for her.”
Now, this isn’t the first time Lohan has played an iconic actress on screen. Back in 2012, she played Elizabeth Taylor in the TV movie Liz & Dick. Since then, many fans have been excited to see her try her hand at another biopic.
