Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Lisa Barlow discussed two lies Bronwyn Newport was caught in during an interview with Daily Mail.
Lisa teased she ‘heard things’ about casting and filming for RHOSLC‘s upcoming sixth season.
The jewelry lie:
While the Vida Tequila owner may have brought Bronwyn onto the show as her friend, it didn’t take long for the Housewives’ friends-to-enemies trope to play out.
Regarding her current status with Bronwyn, Lisa declared, “I don’t think about her unless I’m asked about her, or she goes on Twitter.”
The first two parts of the RHOSLC reunion featured Bronwyn and Lisa feuding over the ownership of the newbie’s $4 million necklace and Lisa mentioning Gwen’s grandparents on camera.
Well, Lisa’s been in touch with Emma the jeweler. She claimed there’s proof of Bronwyn ‘lying’ about buying jewelry. “They have proof she’s been borrowing for three years,” Lisa spilled.
“They had to pay for armored cars to pick up the jewelry [and] pay the insurance for her to borrow the jewelry.”
“Emma is my friend,” clarified Lisa. “Bronwyn met Emma through me.”
“Not knowing there was a reunion, Emma came to me a week before the reunion. ‘I’m stressed,’ Emma explained. “I’m losing credibility with the jeweler because Bronwyn keeps lying and saying she bought it. The jeweler is like, ‘Why isn’t she saying it’s a loan to her?'”
“So,” Lisa said, Bronwyn “put Emma in a horrible situation.’
Lisa didn’t comment on the claims she made on camera about Bronywn’s daughter.
According to a boots-on-the-ground source from the Sundance Film Festival, Bronwyn was seen celebrating apart from Lisa. Awk-ward!
Lisa’s casting preferences:
In addition to Bronwyn, Lisa called out Whitney Rose’s falsehoods. “It gets old with the lies.” She ranted, “When you’re lying about somebody, you’re perpetuating lies.” She advised Whitney to “look at her behavior.”
“I feel like it’s so divisive when you’re around consummate lies and the consummate pileups. I didn’t do anything that I’m accused of doing.”
Lisa doubled down with casting. “I mean, if they don’t want me back, I’m fine with that, too.”
