Lizzo has stunned her fans by revealing her new look following weight loss in a candid post.

The About Damn Time singer, 36, revealed in a post on social media that she had dropped several dress sizes.

The rapper, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, has been on a weight loss journey for some time – sharing updates about her diet and exercise routines with her fans.

In a recent post, she shared pictures of herself in the back of a taxi as she wore her hair in two long braids and wore a white milkmaid-style dress.

The singer looked slimmed down, and fans were quick to compliment her new look.

‘YOU LOOK SO FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!!’ said heynauni.

‘Such a beautiful soul you have came so far !! And I appreciate you so much , you’ve given me my confidence as well ! 😍🤩,’ commented pressurepayten.

In June 2024, the star revealed her intense workouts that have aided her body transformation.

In the TikTok video, Lizzo shared a montage of herself enjoying a variety of different workouts from skipping and squats to burpees and side planks, even going as far as pulling a friend on a sledge.

Despite showcasing her journey for fans, many have still accused the star of lying about dieting and exercising and instead using Ozempic.

Lizzo responded to the Ozempic rumours by poking fun at herself in a Halloween costume, and also highlighting that she has managed ‘simultaneously get Ozempic allegations and fat shamed.’

The Grammy winner has previously responded to criticism of her lifestyle and how she chooses to eat and exercise, after attracting negative attention for going on a smoothie detox last year.

At the time she said: ‘I’m a big girl who did a smoothie detox and I wanted to share that with you guys. I got exactly what I wanted out of it.

‘And every big girl should do whatever the f**k they want with their bodies.’

Speaking to the New York Times in March 2024, the star said that she was spending more time exercising and eating well.

‘I’m taking the time every day to put some love into my body,’ she said. ‘There is never a day when I regret taking a walk or doing some Pilates.’

She added that she has been dieting: ‘I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly.’

Although has always championed body positivity, she admitted that she doesn’t always feel great about her looks: ‘There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don’t feel completely positive.’
