Love and Translation stars Kahlil Haughton and Sara Mendicino have revealed they’re still together. Fans had suspicions they were still dating, but the long distance made it difficult for them.

Sara developed a bond with Dylan, but faced a language barrier and had to mime to each other. Khalil, on the other hand, was getting to know Airi on TLC‘s Love and Translation, but it didn’t work out.

Khalil and Sara confirm romance

Khalil Haughton and Sara Mendicino are now together. They confirmed the news on Instagram, when they joined the trend for Khalil’s “long-distance bae,” which fans already had theories about.

While Sara lives in Milan, Italy, Khalil is living in Washington, USA, the two were never matched on TLC’s Love and Translation but met through the show and are now in a long-distance relationship.

One fan wrote, “Finally confirmed what we knew 💜,” while another penned, “I mean we already kind of knew.. but I love it!!” Since August, the two have been meeting up and making videos together.

Sara bonded with Dylan on TLC

Sara went on a date and made miming work with Dylan, as they could not communicate well due to a language barrier. However, he went on to form a closer bond with Tulay, who he’s since split from.

She explained how, in her culture, kissing is a “special” moment and says a good kisser is one who “gives you special vibes with the touch of his lips” and “should be able to make you feel desired.”

While Sara never really found a strong connection in there at all, she only had to wait a few months to find love post-filming, with Khalil. They’ve even been hash tagging “#longdistancerelationship”!

Khalil and Airi never lasted

Japanese resident Airi dated Khalil, but he fumbled her and started to show more of an interest in Jennifer. Clearly, things didn’t work out with Brazil girl Jhenyfer, as he’s now dating Sara!

Airi wasn’t prepared to be intimate before getting into a committed relationship. She said, “In Japan, we don’t kiss much, even to the back of the hand, forehead, or anything.

“Kissing on the cheek might happen between male and female friends, but we don’t kiss on the lips unless we’re in a committed relationship,” she added before the show’s kissing challenge.

Khalil and Jhenyfer had opposing views about marriage, and she didn’t see a future with him. She felt a friendship connection with him, and did not think they were a good match.
