The Lord of the Rings cinematic universe is expanding with a brand new film.
Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim is a new animated film set in the fantastical world of Middle-Earth.
The upcoming movie, which comes out December 12 in Australia, stars the likes of Gaia Wise, Christopher Lee, Aussie actress Miranda Otto, and Brian Cox.
To celebrate its release, the stars of The Lord of the Rings franchise – both old and new – gathered in London for the world premiere.
Along with the cast of the new film, there were some familiar faces from the original Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films on the red carpet at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on December 3.
