Lorraine Kelly has revealed she has a "no a*******s" policy that helps with the success of her 14-year show.
Reflecting on her programme, the 64-year-old said she considers the set to be her "comfort zone" with many of her crew members being by her side for a long time.
The popular presenter also mentioned her habit of ensuring her guests feel at ease before going live, emphasising the importance of calming pre-show nerves.
She explained: "I always try every morning to have a wee chat with everybody before they come on.
"I don't go through the interview or anything, but I want to make sure that they're alright, so that if I see someone struggling or they're worried about something, or if they're clearly very nervous, it's good to talk to them beforehand."

When it comes to handling challenging industry personalities, she quipped: "I know who the a*******s are, it's all fine, it's all good."
Asked by Blethered podcast's Sean McDonald about who the difficult people were, Lorraine responded, laughing: "How much time have you got?
"No, I'm very lucky that my team are good, we have a no a*******s zone."
She added: "We just don't have time, and an awful lot of them have been with me for a long time.

"They were babies, and now they've got babies of their own and that's lovely."
Lorraine has previously reminisced about her least and most favourite celebrity interviews, naming Kevin Spacey as one of her worst guests.
Speaking to You Magazine, she said: "The worst was Kevin Spacey. This was before the scandal. The interview was about his series House Of Cards, which I loved.
"Isn't it disappointing when you meet somebody whose work you really admire and you think, 'He's being an a***?'"
Lorraine recalled his demeanour during the conversation, adding: "He didn't want to be there. One word answers. Snapping at people. You think, 'Och, don't do that'."
Yet, on a more positive note, she expressed nothing but praise for George Clooney and Hugh Jackman, noting them as some of her most cherished guests.
