Love Island All Star contestant 'forced to quit' after struggle to find romance

3 hours ago 1

A Love Island contestant has allegedly left the All Stars villa following the latest recoupling. The latest series of All Stars has been dramatic - with former couples like Ronnie and Harriet rekindling while bombshells spice things up.

However, it seems some Islanders are finding it harder than others to forge a connection. Scott Thomas, 36, reportedly made the decision to quit the ITV2 show after failing to spark a romance.

Despite being paired with Tina Stinnes, 29, once again in the recoupling, his reservations about their relationship are said to have persisted, leading him to conclude it was best to end things, reports the Mirror.

Scott and Tina had reconnected in the villa after initially meeting on Love Island years ago, but his doubts about their relationship surfaced during a game of truth or dare, when Luca Bish revealed his concerns to Tina.

According to reports, Scott chose to leave the villa rather than "force" a connection or waste Tina's time.

A source revealed to the Sun: "After taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island welfare team, Scott decided the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation. He's done so much work over recent years on self-love and he didn't want to force a connection for the sake of it."

The source claimed since Scott's uncertainty about a romance with Tina was exposed during the game, he has "struggled to feel free" in the situation and "push past his doubts".

On Friday night's show, fans will see him continue to navigate the situation before a recoupling. According to an insider, Scott felt "wasn't right for him" and was concerned about "wasting her precious time" in the villa.

The source explained knowing it's a "big opportunity" for Tina, he didn't wish to "ruin" that for her.

It comes as a hot new bombshell, who left his original reason following some controversy last time, enters the villa tonight with his sights set on a star.
