One Love Island All Stars couple have already called time on their romance just days after their exit.
Marcel Somerville and Olivia Hawkins are said to have parted ways after leaving the South African villa. The pair had left the ITV2 dating show arm in arm, yet "things just weren't working out" between them as they returned home. They were voted off Love Island by viewers, who had branded them the least compatible.
During their exit interview, Olivia insisted she “came and got what she wanted” with Marcel, who she described as “so sweet”. When asked about their relationship, she added: “Yeah really good, he's so sweet, it's still really early days. It's nice that we're out now and we can get back home and give each other our numbers and start texting and dating.”
However, it wasn't meant to be as friends have admitted their connections is "no longer romantic". “Olivia and Marcel ended things a few days ago," a source told the Sun. “Things just weren't working out, outside the villa, and it was better to end things as friends rather than force anything.
“They really are good mates though - they speak all the time and have a lot of respect for each other, but it's no longer romantic." Olivia seemed to hint things weren't going as well as she had hoped when she appeared on the Sisters In The City Podcast. When speaking to former Islander Anna Vakili and her sister Mandi, Olivia remained vague on her connection with Marcel.

ITV)Olivia was asked if she was "closed off" in the relationship as she replied: "No definitely not closed off. You know what, it's like when you come out of the villa there's so much pressure on you and we're not together, we're still getting to know each other. We were only coupled up for a week - it’s very early days.
“He's officially still married, he's still going through a divorce, so obviously the situation in Love Island was … you don't think about that, but when you come out you have to think about the logistics of things." While on the show, Olivia confessed Luca Bish gave her "fire in her belly".
She was asked if Marcel did the same, to which she smiled and said: "I mean it could grow." Mandi quipped: “No, it's not there,” as they all laughed. In her post-villa interview, Olivia confessed: “When our names got called I actually wasn't that surprised, I did think after the whole chat with Luca that it was a possibility. I think all three couples in the bottom deserved to be there and I just believe that whatever happens, happens and if it was my time to go then it was my time to go.”
Despite being coupled with Marcel, and Luca setting his sights on new arrival Grace Jackson, the pair have had several “intense” conversations with plenty of eye contact. After sharing a kiss in a challenge, Olivia and Luca discussed the possibility of moving beyond “the friend zone”.
Rumours of their chemistry quickly circulated around the villa, with even some of the other Islanders sensing “something being there” between them. However, any speculation was quashed in last night's episode when both Olivia and Luca confirmed they wanted to stay in their current couples.
The Mirror has contacted Marcel and Olivia's representatives for comment.
