A former Love Island star has revealed she almost died after her car blew up while she was driving.
Malin Andersson shared the horror story on social media, revealing her daughter was also with her at the time. She told fans she is "in shock" after she was thankfully able to dash to safety.
Taking to Instagram, the 32-year-old reality TV star told how she was driving along the motorway with her two-year-old daughter, Xaya, when she noticed the car started "smoking out of nowhere". In the terrifying message, she wrote: "I took me and Xaya out and ran with her down the side of the dual carriage way in time and it blew up and caught fire minutes later."
She added: "In shock staying off here and @erintidey will answer emails or anything needed work wise. Me and Xaya are safe and sound."

In April, she revealed she required help from the fire brigade when her young daughter locked herself in the car. She told her followers at the time she had been attempting to get her young daughter out of the car when the little one took the keys off her, leaving her trapped inside with the keys and Malin's phone.
She uploaded images of rescue workers trying to free the tot and wrote: "My phone and everything else was in there and I was like F***. The fire brigade came and opened the door safely within minutes but this never crossed my mind and I could have been in a worse situation where my friend wasn't with me and I hadn't had access to a phone."
She added: "The design of the car has a crazy anti-burgling system so there was no way in. The firemen were absolutely amazing and Xaya luckily was calm until the end when she saw them surrounding her. If this is something you haven't thought off please be aware as I wasn't. And it's easily done.
"The maddest thing about this was that I meditated before I left and saw flashing lights and police and was like eh. Almost like a premonition who knows… This taught me to be extra vigilant - SHOUT OUT TO THE FIREFIGHTERS THAT HELPED."
Malin rose to fame after appearing on ITV's hit dating show Love Island in 2016. She had been open with her turbulent life in the years since, including the sad passing of her mum. In September she revealed she had used her inheritance from her mum to pay off a Botox debt after Love Island before heading to Turkey for surgery.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Malin revealed: "If I didn't have my mum's money to fall back on, I don't know what I would have done," before advising people of the addictiveness of the procedures.
