Machine Gun Kelly seemingly slammed claims that he’s not in contact with ex Megan Fox amid her pregnancy with their first child together.
The “Home” musician, 34, took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 28, to share shirtless photos of himself looking out a window, while he was also rocking new facial hair. “How can ‘sources say’ when the sources haven’t said anything,” he captioned the post.
While MGK didn’t share any specific context about the rumors he was referring to, he uploaded the post just hours after TMZ reported that “the lines of communication” between him and Megan, 38, are “closed.”
The outlet’s source claimed that Megan “doesn’t want anything to do with” MGK, adding, “Everyone in her orbit is happy about it. … They feel like she finally came to her senses by shutting him out of her life.”
The insider went on to allege that it’s not currently known how Megan and MGK – whose real name is Colson Baker – will coparent their child.
The former couple called it quits over Thanksgiving 2024 weekend during a trip in Vail, Colorado. Sources told TMZ on December 10, 2024, that Megan and MGK split after she found unspecified material on his phone. MGK reportedly decided to leave the vacation earlier than expected, and the insider claimed they hadn’t been in contact as of time of publication.
Their breakup came just one month after Megan announced via Instagram that she and MGK were expecting their first child.
“Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” the Transformers star captioned a carousel of maternity photos, which showed her naked body covered in a black substance. The caption seemingly referred to her past miscarriage, which she revealed in November 2023.
Megan and MGK have split several times since they first started dating in 2020, and an insider exclusively told In Touch in December 2024 that their “friends aren’t sure how long they’ll stay separated.”
“She loves MGK, but she feels that their relationship has run its course. She’s adamant about moving on, but as soon as their baby comes, MGK will be singing a different tune,” the source continued.
According to the insider, “Megan really tried to make it work, but she doesn’t fully trust him and that’s something she can’t reconcile with. Maybe he’ll change, the baby might be his wake-up call, but he has a lot of work to do to regain her trust.”
“She’s got a big heart and definitely wants him in the baby’s life,” the source added. “Bottom line, don’t hold your breath that these two are done for good.”
Meanwhile, an additional insider exclusively told In Touch that Megan was “devastated” by the split. “Yes, she’s the one who ended things, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t still love him. She does. She just can’t trust him,” the source explained.
While Megan’s current pregnancy marks her first with MGK, she also shares kids Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10 and Journey, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. MGK is also the father to daughter Casie, 15, with ex Emma Cannon.
