Married at First Sight UK bride Polly Sellman was left in tears during tonight's episode after receiving a shock text from her groom.
On Tuesday night (October 29) viewers saw the couples swap partners. Polly was coupled up with Nathan, while her groom Adam joined up with Amy.
Amy was keen to help Adam with how he could develop his intimacy during the swap, and took him to a lingerie shop to pick out a set for his bride. Adam confessed he didn't know Polly's bra size, and encouraged by Amy, sent her a text asking for it.
The text prompted tears from Polly, who had already expressed insecurity about switching partners amid their ongoing struggle with intimacy in their relationship.
"Adam said 'What's your bra size'," the astonished bride said to swapped partner Nathan as they sat at the gym. "What the f***?".
Nathan questioned whether Adam was buying something for her as a nice surprise, telling Polly, "You've been asking for more PDA," but his reassurances fell on deaf ears as Polly quickly shut down the positivity.
"I just feel like I could actually cry," she said, beginning to become visibly emotional. "Just a bit overwhelming. Adam absolutely hates talking about intimacy, we haven't even had a conversation about what we both like in the bedroom, let alone buying me underwear."
Later in the episode Polly confronted Adam who said he was trying to "spice it up" and called her rejection of his gift "a kick in the teeth."
However, Polly said the move had left her confused and she didn't know where she stood.
"To then have something like this, buying lingerie and sex vouchers, it feels like we've gone from nought to 100 and it's confusing. I don't know what he wants," she said to the cameras, before walking out on her groom while in tears.
