Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is reportedly seeing Love Island star Grace Jackson, who previously dated Joey Essex.
Grace, who was inundated with brand offers when she left the ITV reality dating show, has built up a huge Instagram following and went on to sign an eyewatering six-figure deal with clothing brand EGO. She came sixth on the show, alongside Reuben Collins, and was also offered a deal with Pretty Little Thing.
But according to reports, over recent months, she's been seen getting close to 27-year-old footballer Rashford. Grace, who is originally from Walkden in Greater Manchester, has been spotted on dates in Cheshire with the Wythenshawe native.
Grace entered the Love Island villa this year as a bombshell, who bulldozed her way into Joey Essex and Samantha Kenny's coupling, leaving Sam out of the show. She went on to hook up with Joey, who later decided to call time on their rekindled romance in favour of new contestant Jessy Potts, who announced they'd split a month after Love Island.
Since then, she's grown close to Marcus, with the pair reportedly "smitten". A source told the Sun: "Marcus and Grace have been quietly spending time together and he has whisked her on numerous dates around Cheshire. They get on really well and have lots in common."
Meanwhile, Rashford's love life has been turbulent over recent years, with the football star splitting with his childhood sweetheart Lucia Loi in summer 2023. They had rekindled things after splitting in 2021 after eight years together, but called it a day for good two years later.
Since then, he's been spotted in various sticky situations, including a 12-hour bender in Ireland that culminated in a fuming row with a French woman who was believed to be his girlfriend. The footballer was thought to be spiralling, with onlookers reporting that he kicked her out of the £1,500 a night hotel room they were sharing in the early hours, after she allegedly accused him of kissing a woman in a nightclub.
He was said to have got a private jet back to Manchester at 5.30am, before calling into work sick and skipping a training session. In a statement issued at the time, a spokesperson for Manchester United said: "Marcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed."
Marcus, who earns £325,000 per week at United, drew criticism from fans, with one video showing one shouting at him from the Stretford End, saying: "If you want to go, go!" Rashford could be seen getting agitated at the heckler, who was subsequently moved back to his seat.
Shortly after his unauthorised trip to Belfast, he was left out of the squad for missing training. Addressing the criticism in the Players' Tribune, Rashford stated: "When I make a mistake, I'll be the first one to put my hand up and say that I need to do better. But if you ever question my commitment to Man United, that's when I have to speak up."
