Chanel’s iconic fragrance N°5 enters a new chapter with Margot Robbie as its captivating face. The Oscar-nominated Australian actress stars alongside Jacob Elordi, known for his role in "Euphoria," in a stunning short film directed by acclaimed filmmaker Luca Guadagnino for the latest Chanel N°5 campaign.
As a Chanel ambassador since 2018, Robbie expressed her honor in taking on such a prestigious role: “There’s such an impressive lineage of women associated with the fragrance. I am truly honored to join that list of incredible talents.”
Guadagnino’s cinematic masterpiece presents what seems like a conventional love story, only to take an unexpected twist. The film follows Robbie and Elordi on separate journeys toward a planned rendezvous—Elordi rides a motorcycle, while Robbie, in a custom red tweed Chanel ensemble, drives her convertible after applying her signature scent, Chanel N°5.
Set against a breathtaking backdrop of coastal vistas and accompanied by Daft Punk’s evocative track “Veridis Quo,” the characters’ paths ultimately don’t converge. Instead, the film's narrative pivots, focusing on Robbie’s journey of self-discovery.
The campaign culminates with a powerful image of Robbie emerging from the sea, illuminated by sunlight, suggesting her true destination was not a romantic meeting, but a personal odyssey of self-realization.
