Mariah Carey and her horrible childhood: drugs at home, satanic rituals...

Singer Mariah Carey could make public a series of horrific family secrets in the coming days, when she testifies in an explosive hearing about a defamation case brought against her by her brother, Morgan Carey, for $1.25 million.

The 55-year-old singer could talk about the creepy family life she had, mainly at the hands of her mother, after her father, Alfred, abandoned the family when she was only three years old and they were left helpless in the middle of a delicate economic or family situation.

According to close sources, Mariah grew up in a family where there was rampant drug use in the home, where she and her siblings were often left to fend for themselves.

About these family conditions, Morgan, 64, has claimed that Mariah and her sister, Alison, were involved in satanic sex cult rituals and animal sacrifices by their mother. All of these distressing situations will be revealed during the trial against her, the first hearing of which is scheduled for January, when she will be questioned by her brother's lawyer, Richard Roth, in a sworn deposition.

The questioning would include controversial questions about the singer's 2020 memoir, titled 'The Meaning of Mariah Carey'.

His post caused Morgan to sue his sister in 2021 after she accused him of being physically violent and drug trafficking during his youth.

"More often than not, I felt that I had to protect myself from him, and sometimes I also found myself protecting my mother from him," Mariah wrote. "I would say it was common knowledge at the time that [Morgan] was heavily involved in the Manhattan nightclub scene and was often in possession of cocaine and supplied it to members of the nightlife crowd he associated with."

Regarding these accusations, Morgan said they were smears against him: "They are false and defamatory, personally invasive and painful".

However, the family conflict broke out just a few months later, when his mother, 63-year-old Patricia, and Alison, a drug addict, died on the same day, in August this year.

Alison's death left a further lawsuit pending over Mariah's statements in her book.

However, despite the family drama, Mariah is in the midst of her Christmas campaign, her forte at the moment, as she is selling Christmas decorating ideas and items on Amazon and promoting her signature song, 'All I Want for Christmas is You', which earns her around $3 million a year.

"Probably the only thing Mariah wants for Christmas is for this family drama to be over!" said a source close to the singer, amid this scandal related to revelations of her painful past.
