Mark Zuckerberg finally reveals details of "nuclear bunker" that had people scared and curious

There aren't many more important, or rich, people in the world than Mark Zuckerberg. The founder of Facebook and now CEO of Meta Platforms, Zuckerberg is practically doing side quests at this point in his life. Although he's still plugged in to what's going on at his companies, Zuckerberg has frequently been seen going on nature adventures and exploring the world.

It seems like he has come out of his shell a bit in recent years, which in turn has led to him speaking more and putting more of his opinions out in the open. In doing so, he has let media outlets cover more of his moves. One of those was controversial in the eyes of many, when it was revealed that he was building an underground bunker a his ranch in Hawaii. This week, Zuckerberg finally put the crazy ideas of people to rest.

Mark Zuckerberg claims Hawaii bunker is just a safe space for storms

Zuckerberg was prompted on his bunker by journalist Emily Chang, with the host of "The Circuit" asking him if there's "something you know that we don't". Zuck's answer was a bit strange but it checks out.

Oh, I think that's just like a little shelter. It's like a basement. I don't know, whatever you want to call it, hurricane shelter or whatever. I think it got blown out of proportion. As if the whole ranch was some kind of, like, doomsday bunker. It's just not true.

Zuckerberg sounded a little bit caught off guard by the question, so he wasn't fully prepared with a detailed answer. But in reality, it's just a way to stay safe in the case of a nasty storm. Hurricanes are rather rare in Hawaii, but they are possible.

Given how much money Zuckerberg has and the love he has for his wife, who can really blame him for taking the extra precaution. Some will still have conspiracy theories, though.
