Many people are reluctant to cook during the week if they have been working all day, but you can make a delicious home-cooked meal without much effort if you have the right recipe.
Mary Berry has a simple but tasty pasta dish that only takes 15 minutes to cook from scratch.
This creamy pasta has crispy ham, tender mushrooms and is topped with parmesan cheese so you can enjoy some hearty comfort food without spending ages in the kitchen.
In her cookbook ‘Mary Berry Cooks’, the chef wrote: “This is my standby pasta supper – great for everyday family meals or for casual supper parties too. If you don’t have Parma ham, then Black Forest ham or Serrano ham work just as well.”
What is fantastic about this recipe is that it also serves six portions, which makes it perfect for families, big gatherings or you can save the sauce to have more of it during the week.
