90 Day Fiancé star Gino Palazzolo denied his wife Jasmine Pineda’s claims that she lost her teaching job in Panama because of “leaked photos” his ex “sent supposedly to her school.”
“How would my ex even know what school she worked at in Panama?? Also she lost her job before the show even aired,” Gino, 54, wrote in a lengthy Instagram story captured by TLC fan account @90dayfianceupdate on Tuesday, January 28. “I was with her when we went to the school and she was laid off. She never mentioned anything about leaked photos that day as the reason she lost her job.”
Gino claimed the “real reason” that Jasmine, 38, lost her job was because of a “personality conflict” with her boss.
“Which she told me multiple times about,” he continued. “Also it was likely combined with the fact that she had an OnlyFans account while in Panama as well. But personality conflict with her boss was very likely [the] main reason.”
The Michigan native was looking to debunk the rumor since he was able to “talk about it now,” seemingly due to the expiration of the TLC show’s NDA. In addition, he said it was in retaliation to his wife’s years-long attempts to “try and make him look bad.”
Jasmine later replied via her Instagram Stories and slammed her estranged husband for “creating a false narrative to look better.”
“Imagine someone committing a crime (revenge porn) You forgiving them as a dummy and then they victim blaming me,” she wrote in a screenshot captured by fan account kikiandkibbitz said in the statement.
Jasmine stood firm in her stance and replied to her ex’s claims in an exclusive statement to In Touch. “She has previously discussed this incident, and her account of the events remains unchanged,” Jasmine’s rep, Dominton Talent House, confirmed.
Jasmine’s firing from her job was highlighted during her TLC debut on the 90 Day Fiancé spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2021. During the series, Gino traveled to Panama to meet Jasmine for the first time after initially crossing paths with her on a sugar baby website.
Although the pair’s online sparks translated offline, trouble quickly hit when Jasmine received several direct messages from Gino’s ex to warn her that he had been contacting her and had even sent her nude photos of Jasmine.
Gino denied it, but then the ex sent a screenshot of the photos and he ultimately confessed. “That was [me] rubbing it into her, yes,” he told Jasmine as she started to cry. “But that’s the only time I ever did it, I was showing her, ‘Look how hot my girlfriend is.’”
Jasmine later stated that the nude photos were shared with her workplace, leading to her termination from the job. “That information was spread among schools, and I was, like, banned from teaching,” she said during the season 6 premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in June 2023. “Losing my job was a big low for me because being a teacher was a huge part of my identity. Now, without my livelihood and just me waiting for this visa, I feel like I totally depend on Gino and that really makes me feel stuck.”
