Max George has kept his fans regularly updated since the shocking news he required heart surgery.
The Wanted singer, 36, has been documenting his health issues with fans on Instagram following his admission to hospital last week. On Saturday, he revealed he had successfully had a pacemaker fitted as she showed off his scar on his collarbone.
However, a new update today (Sunday) showed that shortly after his operation, the star mistakenly flooded his hospital room. Still sounding weak following his surgery, Max shared a video from the night before on his Stories. In it he said: "Just got out of bed then; 2am it is. My feet just went into about a foot of water. I left my, I left my sink on and it blocked."
Panning the camera around the room, he continued with a smile on his face: "So I've got a nice new gaff. It's pretty sound."

Instagram)In a statement while sharing an image of the scar on his collarbone, on Saturday, Mac had told his followers: "Say hello to my little friend! Given the last 10 days, this is the best Christmas present I could've ever wished for.
"Pacemaker is in. Operation took around 2 and half hours. The main issue being some of my veins had collapsed where the wires were meant to go… But the hospital surgeons, doctors and nurses at the NHS have been incredible. I owe everything to them. The surgeon kindly put my pacemaker just underneath a very special tattoo of mine.. So I’m sure it’s being looked after Few more tests to do due to inflamed lymph nodes on my lungs, but that’ll be easy work! Time to rest and then tackle life full on once again."
Max's 'special tattoo' is a small inking of the date of birth of his late bandmate, Tom Parker, who tragically died in 2022 following a brave battle with glioblastoma. Earlier this month, Max revealed he had been taken into hospital as he was feeling unwell. He said on December 12: "Yesterday I felt really unwell and was taken in to hospital. Unfortunately after some tests they’ve found that I have some issues with my heart.
"I have a lot more tests to determine the extent of the problems and what surgery I will need to get me back on my feet. It’s gonna be a difficult few weeks / months… and Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t exactly what I had planned! But, as always, I’m surrounded with love and support from my wonderful partner Maisie, her family, my family and friends.. and I’m 100% in the best place."
Maisie shared her support of her man too, uploading an image of the pair holding hands while he lay in the hospital bed.
