Megan and MGK sparked dating rumors in May 2020, two months after they met on the set of the crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass. She appeared in the music video for his song “My Bloody Valentine” that same month and confirmed their romance in July, with Megan calling the rapper her “twin flame.” The couple then got engaged in January 2022.
Megan and Kelly hit a rough patch that sparked split rumors in August that year, although they were dedicated to working on their relationship. A year later, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple was “fully back together” and “in a really good place.” MGK supported Megan’s book release, with Megan even revealing that he encouraged her to write it.
In her interview on GMA, Megan revealed for the first time that she and MGK once suffered a miscarriage.
“I’ve never been through anything like that before in my life,” the actress said. “I have three kids. So it was very difficult for both of us, and it sent us on a very wild journey together.”
One year later, Megan announced that she and MGK were expecting their first child together in November 2024. “Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” she captioned a photo of herself flaunting her baby bump via Instagram, as well as a snapshot of a positive pregnancy test.
