Megan McKenna 'collapsed with exhaustion' on first Christmas with newborn

Former the Only Way is Essex star Megan McKenna, her partner Oliver Burke and their son Landon spent time with her family on Christmas Day as discussed in a post this week

Former reality TV star Megan McKenna has shared that she "collapsed" on her bed "with exhaustion" after spending her first Christmas as the parent of a newborn baby this week.

Megan, 32, and her fiancé Oliver Burke, 27, welcomed their son Landon, now two months old, in October. The trio spent time on Christmas Day with some of her family, like Megan's brother Harry McKenna and his daughter Maddison, one.

Photos and videos from the gathering on Wednesday were shared with fans on Instagram by the X Factor: Celebrity winner. Megan wrote about the experience in the caption, teasing on the platform that she had found it exhausting.

She told her followers this week: "Swipe for some Christmas mayhem with the fam! I love you all so much. What a special day. Christmas is so much better now with babies but yes I collapsed on the bed last night with exhaustion." She then added in the post though: "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Megan - who included a clip of food all along a table - shared that her mother Tanya McKenna cooked the dinner. She concluded the caption of the post by writing: "Look at the spread my mum cooked! Wow. Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas."

One photo in the post showed Megan, footballer Oliver and Landon posing together outside a hotel lobby. Former Ex on the Beach star Megan was seen wearing a biege jumper underneath a brown waistcoat, which she paired with flared grey trousers and some trainers, in the recent photo.

Oliver - who has played for teams like Birmingham City in his career - wrapped up in a brown coat in the photo. He was also seen wearing grey trousers and a pair of black shoes. Whilst the couple's son Landon, who was being held by singer Megan, was dressed in a biege onesie.

The post has more than 70,000 likes on the platform and prompted well wishes from fans in the comments section. One wrote: "What a wonderful time for you all, Megan. Merry Christmas." Another said: "Merry Christmas to you all."

It comes after Megan, Oliver and Landon returned to the UK just days ago for the occasion, after the couple moved to Germany a few months ago. She teased: "Landon was a dream on the flight! So calm and amazing. So proud of him."

They spent their first Christmas Eve as a family following their arrival to London. Megan wrote: "Our first Christmas Eve as a family (now about to spent our evening wrapping presents!). Hope your all having the best Christmas Eve, sending lots of love [...] We appreciate all your love."
