Megan Thee Stallion Celebrates ‘In Her Words’ Documentary At Los Angeles Premiere

Megan Thee Stallion premiered her intimate In Her Words documentary Wednesday night (Oct. 30) with a purple carpet celebration in Hollywood at the legendary TCL Chinese Theater. With dozens of hotties awaiting her arrival, the Texas rapper pulled up to cheers and chants at the landmark career moment.

Guests included industry insiders, fans, and close friends, including Brandee Evans, Cory Hardrict, David Archuleta, Jerrie Johnson, Jenn Tran, Markell Washington, Rachel Lindsay, Shaun Ross, and more to watch the film and support Megan’s moment.

In the documentary, fans get a glimpse of Megan Pete, the 29-year-old HBCU graduate behind the “Hot Girl” movement.

“I just hope that when people actually watch the documentary, they get to see that I’m human and what I really was going through at that time in my life,” shared the Grammy winner with VIBE. “What I was really thinking versus what you might’ve seen in the public. They really get to see everything happening in real-time from my lens, and I’m excited for people to finally see that part.”

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios, In Her Words is a TIME Studios and Roc Nation production in association with Nneka Productions. Per the official description, the release “offers an intimate and unfiltered look at Megan’s personal and artistic journey, exploring themes of resilience, vulnerability, and self-empowerment within Hip-Hop.”
