The Duchess of Sussex is widely recognised for her luxurious style. Accustomed to wearing designer clothing and jewels with eye-watering price tags, unlike Kate, you'll rarely see her wearing affordable high-street brands. On a recent trip to Columbia, according to Vogue Meghan's wardrobe reportedly totalled over £90,000, so when Meghan recently confessed to being a fan of the high-street brand Uniqlo we were surprised, to say the least.
In an email to The New York Times as part of an interview with Clare Waight Keller's, who designed the Duchess' iconic wedding dress when at Givenchy, Meghan revealed how she and the British fashion designer have a 'beautiful friendship'.
She also added that she owns several of Clare's Uniqlo items, including a £99 trench coat- which luckily for us is still in stock here. "Her pieces for the brand have movement and modern grace," wrote the Duchess.

And it's actually no surprise she's a fan as many of the pieces from new range have Meghan's name written all over them. The autumn/winter 2024 collection features neutral tones, soft fabrics and fuss-free layering pieces all synonymous with Meghan's 'quite luxury' aesthetic.
As well as the classic trench, we can envision Meghan wearing many of these pieces including the wool blend wrap coat, £109.90 here, the effortless belted shirt dress, now in the sale for a snip, £24.90 here and the HEATTECH Extra Warm Cashmere Blend High Neck T-Shirt, £19.90 here.

Uniqlo)With max price points reaching £110 for a wool coat, shoppers are guaranteed high-end designs at budget-busting prices this autumn. You'll also find quality cashmere for under £100- perfect for the chilly season and gifting come Christmas. We believe Meghan would give the Cashmere Relaxed V Neck Jumper, £99.90 here her royal seal of approval. Shop it in five must-have colours!
However, if you're keen to emulate Kate's style instead you can still snap up the spotty Whistles dress she wore in her first public engagement since the end of her treatment, in the sale for £99 here. She also loves Missoma and owns a pair of the Mini Pyramid Charm Hoop Earrings which can be snapped up for £98.00 here.
