As former Suits stars Patrick J Adams and Sarah Rafferty continue to go from strength to strength with their rewatch podcast, the popular duo have reiterated invitations to any of their former co-stars to appear on the show - including Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Earlier this year, Adams revealed that Meghan herself had reached out to the pair after the duo launched their new series: Sidebar: A Suits Podcast in response to the growing cult popularity of the legal series which propelled them to stardom between 2011 and 2019. After she wished them the very best success with the series, Patrick even hinted he had hoped that one day he might be able to twist the arm of his former on-screen love interest to join them.
Elaborating further on what that may look like if he and Sarah were able to manifest it into reality, Adams, 43 told The Hollywood Reporter : "Obviously, we informed the cast and said, 'Look, guys, we really want to do this thing, and we are telling our stories. This is not about telling anyone else’s story.' Especially with Meghan, she’s had, obviously, such a crazy life since the end of the show.”

Meghan "sent a lovely note in full support of the show and asking us how she could help," he said. "We’re very excited to see if and when there’s a crossover and we can do that.”
If the Duchess was able to find time to participate amid her busy schedule, it’s safe to say that much of her life since leaving acting behind would be strictly off limits, with the focus being on her iconic role as Rachel Zane, which she held until 2018. Adams said, "Our North Star with Meghan is, like I said, we are never going to tell anybody else’s story. We’re super interested in just celebrating what she did on the show."
"She brought Rachel to life in such a beautiful way, and that was such an important part of my experience on the show because Mike and Rachel are such a huge part of that journey for me,” he added, in a nod to his character Mike Ross, who ended up marrying Rachel on screen.
"So, for our purposes, it’s just about celebrating that and completely staying away from anything outside of that."
"Hopefully, along the way, she’ll come and join us for a conversation. That would obviously be incredible," Adams added.
