Mia Khalifa has shut down reports she is dating an Argentinian soccer player in a post that went viral.

The model and influencer took to X, formerly Twitter, to address rumors she was dating Julian Alvarez. The soccer player has represented his national side and used to play in the English Premier League with Manchester City, before transferring to the Spanish outfit Atlético Madrid over the summer.

Reports of the pair dating first appeared in Argentinian media, before making it onto international news sites. But Khalifa denied she was in a relationship.

"To clear things up: I'm not dating anybody, and if I was, it certainly wouldn't be someone not old enough to remember where they were on 9/11," she wrote on X, referring to the fact Alvarez was born in 2000.

The post addressing her dating life went viral with 807,000 views at the time of writing and her fans shared their thoughts in the replies.

"So you're saying there's a chance," wrote @_Shakabam.

"I remember where I was on that day Mia!" replied @Th3PrinceAli.

And @baswrites commented, "Guess I'll just be over here waiting for someone who remembers dial-up internet and not just TikTok! 😂"

The Lebanese-American celebrity rose to fame as an adult film star. She recalled being in Maryland as an eight-year-old during the September 11 terrorist attacks.

She said it had "an impact" on her especially living in Maryland, "only 20 minutes from Washington, D.C.," and that it was a "really, really scary time" when the school went on "lockdown."

Khalifa made the comments during an appearance on British-American broadcaster Louis Theroux's podcast.

The model told Theroux how her class was made to watch the footage of the attacks, which she described as "traumatic."

Khalifa has long been outspoken about her views, especially on the Israel-Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah wars. During her interview with Theroux, she explained why she despised the American government.

She described the U.S. as the "country of capitalism, it's the American dream, there's no limit to what you can accomplish there," but added: "I despise the American government, and the infrastructure of America and everything that it stands for."

Khalifa also spoke about how her family left their native Lebanon to come to the U.S. in 2001 "for a better life," because at the time, "everyone was trying to leave."

She has also recorded feeling "heartbroken" after the Israeli strikes on Lebanon in retaliation to Hezbollah's involvement in Gaza. More than 3,500 people have been killed by Israeli strikes, per the Associated Press.

"My heart is breaking for Lebanon and for humanity," she wrote on X in September.

In a another post she wrote: "THEIR GOAL IS RE-OCCUPATION OF LEBANON THEIR GOAL IS ETHNIC CLEANSING THEIR GOAL IS SETTLER COLONIALISM They're not just bombing the south they're bombing the Beqaa valley and Baalbek and countless civilian streets in between. Where are they supposed to evacuate to?"
