Prince Jackson, the son of the late popstar Michael Jackson, shared his thoughts about his famous dad in a rare interview.
“I come from a very rich family history, and those are some big shoes to fill,” Prince, 27, told the Associated Press on Thursday, December 19. “I don’t know if I ever could. But I wear it with, it’s like a badge of honor.”
“My siblings and I, we each got a piece of him in different ways. For me it’s that philanthropic, kind of giving back. That’s where I’m really passionate about,” Jackson told AP.
According to the Associated Press, which shared the video on X, “Prince Jackson honors his father Michael Jackson’s philanthropic legacy through Heal Los Angeles. This week, Jackson treated kids to a dream day, taking over a Mattel toy store and filling carts with toys to take home.”

According to Jackson, he hopes that his dad would be proud of him.
“I just hope that the work we do makes him proud,” Jackson said in the interview with AP.
“It warms my heart when we see the kids smile at the end of the day. It’s really a fun time,” he said.
Jackson is one of Michael Jackson’s three kids.

According to US Weekly, Prince “has been dating college sweetheart Molly Schirmang for over seven years.”
He is the child of Jackson and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe, “whom he was married to from 1996 to 1999,” US reported.
Paris Jackson is Jackson’s other child with Rowe, and he had a third child through a surrogate, according to US Weekly.
Michael Jackson died in 2009.
