Mustard is not done showing his disdain for Drake by a long shot. He did so this past weekend during his DJ set at Camp Flog Gnaw 2024.
On Sunday evening (Nov. 17), the 34-year-old producer ran through several hits from over the last few decades. At one point, he played the 6 God and The Weeknd’s 2011 record “Crew Love” which the crowd was very into. As the track crescendoed and approached the part where Drizzy was about to begin his verse, the Los Angeles producer yelled “Sike!” and transitioned to Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That.”
That wasn’t the only beef-related song he played either. Later, he cut the lights so attendees could see a screen that played Haley Joel Osment’s “I see dead people” monologue from The Sixth Sense before Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” came on. Mustard let the track play until the “A Minor” line and then restarted it. He and the crowd were aligned, chanting the multiple popular lines from the May 2024 diss record and former Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit. Watch below.
Mustard made his stance on Drake crystal clear by not only producing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” but rapping the lyrics aggressively in front of a camera at The Pop Out concert in June and appearing in the music video in July.
He quadrupled down in August during an interview with The Los Angeles Times when he was asked if he would ever work with the Toronto rapper again. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude,” he said. “He’s a strange guy.”
The Faith Of A Mustard Seed artist was one of the many people who opposed the five-time Grammy winner earlier this year. Future and Metro Boomin’s We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You were laced with shots at the For All The Dogs artist, including jabs from The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky. All of this led to the long-awaited heavyweight bout between Drake and K. Dot where they exchanged several diss tracks.
