The NFL and several teams are contributing millions to wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles amidst the historic wildfires ravaging the city.
Per NFL Insider Adam Schefter, "NFL family is providing $5 million to support communities affected by the wildfires in the greater Los Angeles region. Led by individual contributions from clubs and ownership groups from the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and NFL Foundation, these funds will deliver vital resources to local organizations supporting those affected by the wildfires."

The NFL is stepping up with a $5 million donation to support communities impacted by the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
Ahead of Monday's Wild Card matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings, the Kroenke Family—through the Kroenke Family Foundation—will contribute $1 million to the LAFD Foundation. This marks the foundation's continued commitment to disaster relief, having previously assisted during the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergencies.
In addition to the Kroenke family's gift, the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings, and the NFL Foundation will each donate $1 million. These funds will go toward local organizations providing critical assistance to those affected by the wildfires.
To further raise awareness, Rams players, coaches, and staff will wear custom LAFD hats and shirts featuring the Rams' logo during the game. Game-worn jerseys and select footballs will be auctioned off on NFL Auction, with all proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross.
A statement from The Kroenke Family reads:
"On behalf of our family and the Los Angeles Rams, our thoughts are with everyone affected by the unfathomable fires and destruction. We are beyond grateful for the tireless efforts of our first responders who continue to protect our community as well as individuals who continue to help our neighbors in need. We know there are both immediate and long-term needs and our family and the Rams are committed to doing our part to support recovery efforts now and into the months and years ahead."
