Nick Cannon Says He ‘Needs Help’ After Narcissistic Personality Disorder Diagnosis

Nick Cannon is speaking out following his admission that he was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder.

“I still don’t understand it all the way, but I kind of always wanted to get tested for it. I did a bunch of tests,” he told PEOPLE.

Cannon says he was diagnosed with ADHD and as a child, he was diagnosed with dyslexia but that following his recent diagnosis, he is committed to learning more about NPD.

“I feel like there’s so many labels out there, but… to be able to embrace it and say, ‘Look, I’m healing. I need help. Show me.’ I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way,” he added. “To be able to say I’m an example for others, but also be healing during the self-process works, too.”

Cannon’s family synamic has put him in the headlines often over the past few years. The media personality has 12 children and six baby mamas. He says he was compelled to procreate after he received three visions from God.
