Nina Dobrev and Shaun White are headed down the aisle after more than five years together.

The snowboarder asked the “Vampire Diaries” star for her hand in marriage with a dreamy proposal in New York City some time this month, according to an announcement from Vogue on Wednesday.

White popped the question during a romantic evening at the Golden Swan restaurant, where he got down on one knee and presented his now-fiancée with a five carat diamond ring.

Dobrev told Vogue she had no clue her other half was going to propose.

“I went into shock,” she said. “I just froze and stared at him.”

To pull off the surprise, the three-time Olympic gold medalist planned quite the elaborate setup.

White’s publicist helped fool Dobrev by sending the Bulgarian Canadian actor a fake invitation for a VIP dinner with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.

“He made the invite look so legitimate,” Dobrev recalled.

Following the proposal, the couple got to celebrate with their closest friends and family, popping champagne bottles and indulging in caviar before having Shake Shack burgers and dumplings sent to the restaurant.

The bride-to-be personally confirmed the engagement news on Instagram Wednesday when she posted a photo of the couple kissing under an arch of white roses.

“RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé,” her cheeky caption read.

The couple’s relationship began in 2019 after they met at a workshop organized by motivational speaker Tony Robbins.

The next year, Dobrev and White decided to move in together during the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic. They’ve been inseparable ever since.

Back in April, White mused about his future with Dobrev in an interview with People magazine.

“We’re just enjoying our time together right now. No pressure,” he said, later adding, “But you never know. We’ll see what happens.”
