No one mourns the (people singing during) Wicked.
It's Wicked weekend! The highly anticipated adaption of the hit Broadway musical arrives in theaters today with Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda.
However, a debate is quickly brewing over one very important film-going experience: Is it OK to sing along to the musical?

The conversation has grown so large that news outlets like the New York Times and ABC News have covered it. In fact, AMC has even warned moviegoers they shouldn't sing along with Cynthia and Ariana during the film.

In a @nytimes article, a "Wicked" fan who intends to sing her heart out along with the movie says of those who would frown on that: "People who just are judgmental in that way, please wait to stream it." Nonsense. It should be the other way around.

That’s the kind of entitlement that is rampant now in movie theaters for all sorts of behavior. Wicked rude!
