Love is Blind‘s Tyler Francis is getting CALLED OUT!
If you’ve been watching Season 7 of the Netflix dating show, you know that Tyler has been under fire for keeping a major secret from his fiancée, Ashley Adionser. They got engaged sight unseen in the pods, but it wasn’t until they were back in the real world living together that he finally revealed that he had fathered three children. He claimed he was simply a sperm donor for a lesbian couple — and he insisted the children had never met him.

But, as the internet quickly uncovered, that seemed to be all wrong! Tyler had previously been photographed with the kids a bunch on social media, and it certainly seemed like he played a more active role as a father figure compared to what he let on. Yikes!!
Well, now, his baby momma is speaking out — and calling him out for his alleged lies! Bri Thomas — one of the mothers of Tyler’s kids — took to Instagram to share multiple videos detailing her version of the story on Sunday. She began by explaining that Tyler, who she termed as once being one of her “best friends,” agreed to help her and her former wife conceive their first child. She explained:
“In regards to our oldest child, Kyreaux, Tyler was initially only supposed to be helping me and my ex-wife. He was helping us conceive. It was understood that Tyler was not supposed to assume a father role in Ky’s life, hence my ex-wife’s name being on the birth certificate.”
Unfortunately, right before giving birth, her ex-wife left her and moved to California. The woman returned for their son’s birth, but continued with the move. They planned to co-parent, but soon after, the ex petitioned the court for full custody. She recalled:
“Tyler, as my best friend, was there for me, helping me through this extremely, extremely tough time in my life. And for that, I’ll always be thankful for him, and I wouldn’t change a thing.”
It was around this time that Tyler allegedly asked to have a more active role in Kyreaux’s life! Bri noted:
“One day, I received a text from Tyler and he asked me if I would be OK with him being a father to Kyreaux because he did not want Kyreaux to be raised by a single mother, as he had. We had a deep discussion about what that would mean for him to be stepping up as a father to Kyreaux and what it would look like as far as financial responsibility, helping out, being an active parent in his life, being present.”
From that moment on, Tyler “acted as a father” to their child, who is now 7. So, HE’S the one who wanted this — despite how he’s acting now!
Things were even less complicated, though, with the couple’s twins. Kali and Kamari, now 5, were conceived naturally before their older sibling turned 1. Bri explained:
“Kali and Kamari are the results of natural, unplanned intercourse with absolutely no complexities surrounding parentage. They were conceived before Kyreaux turned 1, and I admit, fully admit I have not always been the most comfortable with that truth due to the fact that I’ve lived the majority of my life as a lesbian.”
Still, Tyler “was there with” Bri during the pregnancy and birth of the twins. And at one point, they were even allegedly shacking up together!! She noted:
“He was there throughout my entire pregnancy, at the time of the delivery and throughout my entire stay in the hospital after birth. He signed the birth certificate. He cut the umbilical cords. His mom and sister came and visited me in the hospital, visited us in the hospital after the twins were born. Again, there has never been any confusion or additional context surrounding the twins’ origin.”
While they were living as a family for the kids, they agreed that they were both allowed to date other people. And the former basketball player was actually supportive of Tyler going on Love is Blind — until she realized that he’d “disowned” his kids on the show and then apparently once again after he returned from filming. Hitting back at Tyler’s claims on the series, she said:
“I can’t wrap my head around why he felt the best way to do that would be to cut off the kids. Then, to make matters worse, lie on national television and say they’re merely sperm babies and they don’t know what he looks like.”
She continued:
“That all hurts. I understand. This is for everyone’s entertainment. But this is our real lives. And, you know, it sucks. It really sucks.”
Not only does she feel that she has now “lost” her best friend because of this, but she’s upset over the way her kids have been “disowned and at this point disrespected by their father.” She concluded:
“I just pray every single day that they don’t grow up and see any of this and just ready for it all to be over and praying that at some point I start getting the financial support that I feel like we are owed.”
Bri is now fighting for all the financial support that she believes ought to be coming to her. She has also filed to change the twins’ last name to be the same as their older brother. That just goes to show how distant Tyler has become in their lives. Oof.
Addressing that part of things, Bri claimed:
“Tyler hasn’t spoken to or seen the kids since September 30, 2023, that was the day before he left for this show. That’s why I’m so beyond hurt and angry with him about all of this. It just didn’t have to be this way, it shouldn’t be this way.”
