Olivia Munn Goes Topless For Skims Campaign

4 weeks ago 4

Olivia Munn is baring it all as this month’s Skims spokesperson.

Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the actress is proudly embracing her mastectomy scars, and encouraging women to do the same.

ICYMI: in April of 2023, Olivia shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

“February of 2023, in an effort to be proactive about my health, I took a genetic test that checks you for 90 different cancer genes,” she began her announcement to her 3 million Instagram followers.

“I tested negative for all, including BRCA (the most well-known breast cancer gene). My sister Sara had just tested negative as well. We called each other and high-fived over the phone. That same winter I also had a normal mammogram.”

“I am extremely grateful to the nurses, patient coordinators and staff at Cedars-Sinai in LA and Saint John’s in Santa Monica. I want to specifically thank my surgical oncologist Dr. Armando Giuliano, my reconstructive surgeon Dr. Jay Orringer, my oncologist Dr. Monica Mita, and especially my guardian angel, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you…,” she closes out her statement.

Over a year later, the mother of two is celebrating her body post mastectomy.

“Every mark life has left behind on my body is proof of how hard I fought. I hope other women who have been self-conscious about their scars see these photos and feel all the love I’m sending.”

From October 23, 2024 to October 31, 2024, SKIMS will donate to Susan G. Komen® 10% of the retail sales price for each bra sold in SKIMS stores and on Skims.com.

Round of applause to Olivia Munn for being vulnerable and open so proudly and boldly. As women, we have such a connection to those parts of our bodies. When those are removed, it creates a mental toll.  What are we without the parts of us that make us women?
