OnePlus has announced the OxygenOS 15 finally and the latest operating system packs a lot of intriguing features. It is being hailed as one of the fastest, and lightest OS by the company. As claimed by the company, the OxygenOS 15 comes with industry’s first parallel processing capability chipset that could deliver seamless animations along with advanced AI capabilities. It has also been revealed that the OnePlus 12 will be the first device to have the same.

Starting with the animations, OnePlus has introduced Parallel Processing that will allow users to shut down up to 20 apps in the blink of an eye at a lightning-fast pace. The official video shows that there are no lags and the transitions look seamless.
Furthermore, OnePlus has stated that its latest OS will take up 20% less space than the previous version. One thing that you should know is that this feature will be introduced in the next generation of OnePlus flagship devices.

OnePlus is also bringing some major changes to the design and system like new icons, animation, shelf card choices, multiple fingerprint unlock style animations, and more. The company has also launched a Share with iPhone feature that will make file sharing more than convenient between OnePlus phones and iPhones.
In addition, OnePlus also dropped a handful of AI features with the update. The AI Unblur feature could fix blurry images without any external app usage, as claimed by OnePlus. The AI Detail Boost feature can transform low-resolution or cropped images into 4K visuals.
The OS also gets the AI Reflection Eraser that eradicates reflections in a photo with a single tap. With the Intelligent Search feature, the users will get to have human-like conversations for their search queries. That’s not it, as OxygenOS 15 is also bringing Circle to Search for its devices. OnePlus plans to first release the beta versions of the operating system followed by a stable version in the future. The first open beta version of OxygenOS 15 will be launched for the masses starting on October 30, 2024.
