OnePlus is officially starting to roll out OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The company confirmed that 16 OnePlus devices will get Android 15 in an open beta, with the last phone seeing the new OS in February of next year.
OnePlus detailed everything we were expected to expect in OxygenOS 15, down to the much smoother animations. The company’s new OS takes on a ton of AI features and packs them in, such as a new AI Assistant in the Notes app, Circle to Search, and AI-powered image upscaling features. We’ve covered the full release, which has much more to it.
According to a post from OnePlus on its official forum, the beta version of Android 15 will be available on 16 devices. Of course, it starts with the OnePlus 12 on October 30. From there, the company details which devices will see the Android 15 beta in which month. Notably, the OnePlus Open and the OnePlus Pad 2 will get the update in November, and the OnePlus 11 will see the beta in December.
This extends out to February 2025. By that point, a number of devices at the top of the list will have received the full rollout. OnePlus notes that the order and timeline is subject to change, and since this is a beta rollout, nothing is set in stone.
