Katy Perry makes a bold dress work for ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 17 appearance

It is only the start of 2025 and Katy Perry is already serving fashion goals. Besides, she never leaves her fans hanging for too long. The singer recently resumed her work for the new year as she appeared as the guest judge on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17 premiere. The pop star left no stone unturned to serve yet another iconic look. Her premiere night outfit blended avant-garde and chic in a way that not many have thought of before.

Perry took a page out of Madonna’s fashion game to rock an edgy cone bra dress for the reality show’s premiere. The boudoir-inspired peach gown was designed by fashion designer Judassime. The bustier top featured buckle straps alongside the pointy cone bra. Furthermore, the outfit featured a plain skirt with a serpentine hem that was accentuated by furry layers. Meanwhile, the singer paired her gown with a funky accessory and bold glam.

Perry accessorized her chic fit with an O-ring choker, setting a more sultry vibe to go with the gown. Her longtime stylist, Tatiana Waterford, assembled the look. Makeup artist Michael Anthony gave the singer a glam that highlighted her jawline and cheekbones. Adding more pop to the defined look, Perry donned a bold pink lip and a light pink hue as eyeshadow. Lastly, hairstylist Jesus Guerrero styled her hair open and in waves with a side part.

Previously, Katy Perry debuted a punk rock look on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” Season 17. She wore a black jacket with the words “SEX SYMBOL” over what appeared to be an LBD. The star amped up the cool quotient with black knee-length boots and sunglasses. Perry entered the dressing room only for the contestants to erupt with joy over the pleasant surprise. She also advised the drag queens to not be “afraid to take the mask off and show the real person in there.”
