More Details On Megan Thee Stallion’s Restraining Order Request Against Tory Lanez
On Tuesday, December 17, TMZ published an exclusive report asserting that on the same day, Megan filed a request for a restraining order against Lanez. Per the outlet, the rapper has reportedly alleged that she’s endured “several months of abuse… from Tory.”
“Even now, while behind bars, Mr. Peterson shows no signs of stopping. Despite being sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Ms. Pete, Mr. Peterson continues to subject her to repeated trauma and revictimization,” the petition reportedly reads, per Page Six.
Specifically, Megan has alleged that Lanez employed a team of bloggers to “spread defamatory statements about her.” One blogger reportedly noted in the filing is Elizabeth Milagro Cooper.
Furthermore, Megan believes that Lanez and Cooper have developed a “conspiratorial relationship.” Additionally, the filing asserts that payments were even given to Cooper in exchange for her making public defamatory statements against Megan.
Per the outlet, the restraining order cites that Megan feels she’s enduring “continued ‘psychological warfare'” from Lanez. Ultimately, the outlet reports that Megan Thee Stallion is requesting a restraining order “that would force Tory to stop contacting, harassing, or intimidating her — whether directly or through third parties.”
