The highly-anticipated nominations for this year's Oscars have been released, with Emilia Perez getting the most nods at 13, followed by Wicked and The Brutalist with 10 each

The nominations for this year's Oscars are out after fears it could be cancelled for the first time in 96 years.

Spanish-language musical Emilia Perez has got the most nominations, with 13. It is closely followed by fellow musical Wicked, and period drama The brutalist with 10 each.

Brit actor Ralph Fiennes got his first nomination since 1996 for Best Actor for Conclave. Meanwhile, Demi Moore has got her first ever Oscar nomination at 62, for her incredible role in The Substance.

Other noteable mentions include Elton John, who gets his fifth Original Song nomination, and Ariana Grande who got her first nomination for playing Glinda in Wicked.

The nominations were moved from Friday, January 17 to today (Thursday, January 23) due to the Los Angeles wild fires. The ceremony will take place on March 2.
