Oti Mabuse has arrived in Australia as they become the latest campmate to prepare for I'm A Celebrity.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional joins presenter Melvin Odoom who arrived in Australia on Monday evening, UK time.
Oti gave birth to her first child, a daughter, on Christmas Day last year, with her husband and fellow pro dancer Marius Lepure. Her daughter, whose name is not known, spent six weeks in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) after being born ten weeks early and weighing less than 3 lbs.
Explaining her reasons for signing up to I'm A Celeb before her daughter's first birthday, Oti said: "Now I have had my baby daughter, I want to get back to the adventurous and fun Oti. I feel ready for a change and doing something completely different. I will have no make-up, concealer, lashes – it's going to be nice to be laid back."
Oti said she was going to use the trip away to catch up on her sleep. "As a new mum, I am going to use it to my advantage. I am going to catch up on a whole year's sleep! Of course not seeing my daughter is going to be hard. She is going to be one of my biggest motivators. My husband is really excited I am doing the programme. He loves the show too!"
Oti arrived hours after Radio 1 star Mevlin. The BBC Radio host and TV presenter teased upon his arrival: "It looks lovely here and it's warmer than home. I'm here for a bit of relaxing, nothing too strenuous." He added: "I've been camping before at festivals but I'm not really a tent guy."
Campmates began arriving in Australia over the weekend, with McFly 's Danny Jones, 38, the first to be spotted at the airport. The musician's arrival came following reports that his flight had been delayed due to a thunderstorm.
Coronation Street cast member Alan Halsall, 42 - best known for playing Tyrone Dobbs - later landed at the airport himself. The actor was the second campmate to arrive in the country ahead of I'm A Celebrity's return.
N-Dubz member Tulisa Contostavlos, 36, became the third celebrity to arrive. The former X Factor judge's arrival came amid speculation that she is preparing to relaunch her music career after being a campmate.
BBC Radio 1 host Dean McCullough, 32, was the fourth campmate to be seen at the airport. He was spotted at Brisbane Airport on Monday and the presenter shared upon his arrival that it marked his first time visiting Australia. Following his arrival, podcast host GK Barry, 25 - whose real name is Grace Keeling - was the next celebrity to land in the country ahead of the launch. The content creator had already been seen at Heathrow Aiport on Sunday.
Former professional boxer Barry McGuigan, 63, was then the sixth campmate to arrive at the airport. He's said to have signed up for this year's I'm A Celebrity after former professional footballer Ally McCoist, 62, dropped out.
The line-up for the new series of I'm A Celebrity also includes former Strictly Come Dancing pro Oti Mabuse, 34, TV personality Coleen Rooney, 38, and Loose Women panelist Jane Moore, 62. The final three campmates are expected to arrive in Australia on Tuesday (UK time).
Ant McPartlin, 48, and Dec Donnelly, 49, will return as hosts for the upcoming series. The presenting duo were both spotted in Australia over the weekend, with their reunion coming just a week before the launch is aired. I'm A Celebrity will be accompanied by companion show Unpacked, hosted by reigning winner Sam Thompson, 32, former campmate Joel Dommett, 39, and radio host Kemi Rodgers, 29. That show is set to feature behind-the-scenes gossip, unseen clips, exclusive interviews and more.
Campmate Coleen is hopeful that appearing on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will give people "a better idea of what kind of person I am". The wife of former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney, 38, has been embroiled in a high-profile libel battle with fellow footballer's wife Rebekah Vardy, who previously competed on the ITV reality show in 2017.
When asked about the "biggest misconception" she wants to dispel, Coleen said: "I have been in the public eye for over 20 years now and people take what they want from it. I do think people will get a better idea of what kind of person I am."
She was dubbed Wagatha Christie in 2019, when she accused Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, of leaking her private information to the press in a viral post on social media. In July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true".
Speaking about going on I'm A Celebrity, Coleen said: "It has been year after year I have been asked to go on a programme, and it's always been a straight 'no'. Over the years, there have been different things going on in my life and also, my children have been really young.
"But they are at an age now where I can go away for this length of time. I also feel it's time to have a challenge for me and do something different. It has taken many, many years but I'm finally doing it. And I have always said, if I was going to do one – then it would be this show. I think it will be good for me."
She also said that she watches I'm A Celebrity "every year" and called it a "good family show". "The most rewarding thing for me is the fact I have actually agreed to do it," she added. "I am a really organised person and so to take myself away from that is going to be difficult. But I've got a very supportive family around me and I know everything is going to be fine."
The new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here starts on ITV next Sunday (November 17) at 9pm.
