Outlander star Sam Heughan was spotted at Murrayfield Stadium during the Scotland match over the weekend.
The Scottish actor was seen at the game in Edinburgh cheering the team on as they competed in the Autumn Nations Series against South Africa.
Seen in the stands wearing a navy jacket and Scotland strip, Heughan was getting stuck into the game as he threw his hands in the air and jumped to his feet during crunch points of the match, reports Edinburgh Live.
Many fans were quick to share their excitement over the star making an appearance. One comment reads: "So fun to see him being totally himself. Not acting, not being interviewed."
Another fan said: "I really enjoyed seeing @Sam Heughan come out of his shell."
Other familiar faces were spotted at the match on Sunday afternoon, including Scotland footballers Andy Robertson and John McGinn.
We recently reported that Outlander star Sam Heughan has issued a new social media warning to fans to “be careful” ahead of the hit show’s return this month. His social media warning comes ahead of the show’s return, with the second half of season 7 set to drop on November 22.
However, Sam has since taken to Instagram to warn his fans about threats online, which appear to be becoming more frequent ahead of the show’s return.
On his Instagram Story earlier this week, Sam told his 4.3 million followers: “Please be careful on social media. So many scammers. I will never reach out or message on Instagram/Twitter/WhatsApp/Google hangout/etc Or ask for money.
“If it’s not verified, it’s not me,” he added. “No[r] will my agent/family/publicist etc… Or Telegram!”
