While the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 couples are talking about marriage during episode 18, some pairs are realizing they may not be on the same page.
90 Day Fiance’s James and Tata Make It Down the Aisle … Again
It was wedding day for James and Tata! Although it was meant to be a day of celebration, James was nervous because he didn’t know the traditional Indonesian customs. In addition, James felt that Tata was giving him the “cold shoulder” and her sister Angel was looking to sabotage things.
“I have no idea what’s happening. This wedding is about as different as it could possibly be from my wedding in the U.S.,” James said in a confessional with producers.
Tata later apologized to James and they agreed to see the wedding a fresh start.
90 Day Fiance’s Josh and Lily Argued About Finances
Josh and Lily went out to dinner to talk about the recent interaction with her daughter, Vivian. During the conversation, Lily told Josh it was “inappropriate” for him to start an argument with her. Josh admitted he felt sensitive about the situation, and Lily ultimately decided to forgive him.
The next day, Josh and Lily continued the wedding planning. The China native told Josh that she had no money this month and asked him to pay some money for their wedding. Josh said that he had money that could go toward their ceremony and just needed to figure out a way to transfer it to her.
When they arrive at the venue for their ceremony, they find out the balance must be paid in full to proceed with the wedding. Josh agreed to try his credit card but was unsure if it would go through due to him being out of the United States.
“If this card does not go through, just because of traveling out of the country, do you have a card that will work?” Josh asked his future wife, who said she didn’t. “I just hate to see this all fall apart”
“If he can’t pay the outstanding amount, we will need to cancel the wedding,” Lily told the cameras. “I will definitely feel very disappointed and down. I will feel very embarrassed and unable to face my family and friends.”
Their worst nightmare seemingly came true as Josh was told his card wasn’t working.
90 Day Fiance’s Corona and Ingi Had Differing Views on Marriage
Corona stormed out of the bar after finding out that Ingi wasn’t sure about marrying her. After dropping her life in Pennslyvania to live in Iceland, she felt she made a mistake and questioned their relationship.
The midwifery student decided to stay overnight at a hotel, and although Ingi came by the next day, she was dissatisfied that he didn’t bring her flowers.
Ingi told Corona he was disappointed with how he responded to her questions about marriage. Corona, however, felt that if he expected her to agree to a long engagement or delay marriage, then he “has the wrong person.” This made her realize they might not be on the same page about many important issues.
