One legendary actor made a "wrong" joked about P Diddy and children over two decades before his arrest.

Chris Rock once made a joke about the rapper teaching children “wrong from wronger” in a resurfaced clip from the 2003 VMAs. Diddy was a producer on the show Making The Band, which following aspiring singers who competed for a record deal, which Rock couldn’t resist mentioning.

“My favourite show on MTV is Making The Band with P Diddy, it’s the best show on television because you get to see Puff Daddy [P Diddy] being a mentor to the children, and who better than Puff Daddy to show the kids wrong from wronger? That’s right, you get to see Puff Daddy pass down great fatherly advice.”

The awards show clip has been posted to TikTok and critics flooded the comments after watching Chris’ savage performance. One person said that the joke “aged so badly” while another added: “OUCH.”

“After Diddy’s arrest…” noted another person, who clearly couldn’t believe what they had heard. The clip has resurfaced in light of Diddy’s recent scandal.

The I’ll Be Missing You rapper, real name Sean Combs, was arrested on 16 September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, which he “categorically denies”.

He is currently being held in the Metropolitan Detention Centre awaiting trial. Former Playboy bunny Precious Muir recently spoke to The Mirror US about her time at one of his parties, claiming that she felt like “fresh meat” as a young model.

The star was asked to attend an “invite only” event by a VIP host: “I had the opportunity to go and I was with other people that were also in the same position. You know, we’re very vulnerable, we’re young models just starting out, we’ve not established a name yet, we were just kind of thrown in at the deep end amongst all these people that are well established, very well known celebrities.”
