As wildfires rip through Hollywood, many A-listers have been forced to evacuate their lavish homes.
On Tuesday, January 7, powerful winds caused intense brush fires in the affluent community of Pacific Palisades, Calif., causing at least 30,000 residents to be displaced from their properties.
While the first responders are doing everything they can to put out the natural disaster, celebrities have spoken out about their experiences.

Mark Hamill
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill took to Instagram to reveal he left due to the inferno. "Personal Fire Update: 7 p.m.- Evacuated Malibu so last-minute there [were] small fires on both sides of the road as we approached the PCH [Pacific Coast Highway]," he wrote.
"8:15 p.m. – Marilou, Trixie and I arrive at Chelsea's in Hollywood. Most horrific fire since '93. STAY SAFE!" he added, referring to his wife, dog and his daughter's home.
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag
The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag revealed their home completely burnt down. "Nightmare came true," the father-of-two wrote in a social media post about the disaster.
According to a source, Spencer, the blonde beauty and their two kids evacuated safely earlier in the day.
Jennifer Tilly
"Phil and I had to evacuate to the Commerce Casino. #palisadesfire," Jennifer Tilly wrote in an Instagram update alongside a photo of herself and longtime boyfriend Phil Laak.
Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck was reportedly forced to leave the house he snapped up after splitting from ex-wife Jenifer Lopez. According to TMZ, he headed over to his other former spouse Jennifer Garner's home to be with his three children.
Chet Hanks, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
"The neighborhood I grew up in is burning to the ground rn [right now]. Pray for Palisades," Chet Hanks wrote on his Instagram Story, alongside a praying hand emoji about Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson's former Pacific Palisades mansion.
Eugene Levy
Eugene Levy said he was trapped in Los Angeles traffic while trying to get out of the danger zone. "The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon," he told The Los Angeles Times. "I couldn't see any flames but the smoke was very dark."
James Woods
Hollywood legend James Woods took to X, formerly known as Twitter to reveal, "All the smoke detectors are going off in our house and transmitting to our iPhones. I couldn't believe our lovely little home in the hills held on this long. It feels like losing a loved one."
Mandy Moore
Mandy Moore took to her Instagram Stories to give an update on her situation. "Evacuated and safe with kids, dog and cats," she wrote.
She added, "Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don't know if our place made it."
Sandra Lee
Sandra Lee said the fire is dangerously close to her Malibu home. "I pray for everyone in Los Angeles right now. What an incredibly terrifying moment for my community. As the fire reaches our doorstep, please stay in contact with each other; Community in times like these is our lifeline. We are all safe but the fire is inching closer to my slice of heaven in Malibu," she penned.
Steve Guttenberg
Actor Steve Guttenberg was seen helping his fellow citizens evacuate the area. "What's happening is people take their keys with them as if they're in a parking lot. This is not a parking lot. We really need people to move their cars," he told KTLA 5. "If you leave your car behind, leave the key in there so a guy like me can move your car so that these fire trucks can get up there."
Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry
Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry, own a $7.5 million home in the Pacific Palisades, but they yet to speak out about the disaster.
Alabama Barker and Landon Barker
Travis Barker's kids Alabama Barker and Landon Barker both took to social media to reveal they evacuated from their home. "Praying for everyone the fires have effected," the 21-year-old penned.
Billie Eilish
While it's unclear if Billie Eilish's home was in the line of fire, she grew up in Los Angeles. "What's going on in L.A. right now is sooo scary and devastating," she wrote via her Instagram Story.
Maria Shriver
The former First Lady of California Maria Shriver took to Instagram to write, "Almost 1200 acres of land are on fire, with gusts of wind that could reach up to 100 mph. Please pay attention if you are asked to evacuate."
