Pamela Anderson Makes Major Correction About Her Marriage History

1 month ago 4

Pamela Anderson just clarified one major “misconception” about her marriage history, sharing how she’s only been wed four times and not six, as is often reported.

During a conversation on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Awards Chatter” podcast, which came out on Monday, the star of “The Last Showgirl” told host Scott Feinberg how stories about her 12-day marriage to hairdresser-turned-filmmaker Jon Peters were totally mistaken.

Offered a chance to set the record straight on “the biggest misconception about” herself, Anderson revealed, “I never was married to Jon Peters.”

As the “Baywatch” actor explained, Peters, a longtime friend of Anderson’s, did try to convince her to accept an unexpected proposal back in 2020, but nothing was ever official.

“I had just come home from France and my son called me. He goes, ‘You’re not going to believe it. Jon Peters called me. He offered me $20 million if I could get you to marry him,’” she recalled. “And he was laughing hysterically. Obviously, we don’t take Jon seriously. Jon is a moviemaker. He’s a wonderful person. He’s very funny.”

Anderson, who first met Peters back in the ’80s, continued, “I knew him at the very beginning. And he’s kind of popped up here and there. So we said, ‘Well, let’s just have lunch with him.’”

At lunch, the film producer made a quick romantic overture to Anderson.

“And this is so funny. We had lunch and then he had a bunch of flowers there and he had everybody, all the family was there — I’ve known his daughters — and it was just a funny moment,” she said. “But I never married Jon. It was never a marriage, but we were just laughing about that. That’s all that happened. But still people think that I was married to him. So it’s kind of on my list on Wikipedia.”

Anderson was famously married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in the ’90s; she would go on to wed singer Kid Rock in 2006, only to divorce one year later.

Following that, the “Barb Wire” star had an on-off relationship with professional poker player Rick Salomon. The duo married in October 2007, but the union was annulled by March 2008. They romantically reconnected for a brief time and wed again in 2014, but by February 2015, she had filed for divorce.

Around Christmas 2020, Anderson tied the knot with her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst. She announced they had divorced in January 2022, however.

Anderson explained during her “Awards Chatter” appearance that her relationship with Salomon is the other marriage that gets misconstrued, noting that since their first time getting married was annulled, it doesn’t count.

“It’s hard to correct someone when say I was only married four times instead of six. It’s just a little less bad. But I wanted to clarify,” she said.
