Pride of Britain winner Florrie Bark is nothing short of a star, so it is no wonder the eight-year-old was invited to help record a celebrity podcast. The TikToker, who is currently awaiting a lung transplant, was in the studio recently to join reality stars Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks’ podcast, Staying Relevant, and the pair shared the video on their Instagram for all to enjoy.
The little girl, from Corby, Northamptonshire, won the Child of Courage gong at this year’s awards for her tireless work raising awareness for cancer - and captured the heart of the nation in the process. Florrie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) in 2022 and is currently awaiting a lung transplant, after the treatment she underwent damaged her organs.
But meeting Pete and Sam the eight-year-old was, of course, her usual ball of energy and positivity, squealing with delight as Sam entered the room. “Sorry I stole your chair,” she giggled as Sam responded by giving her a cuddle and saying, “Mate it's your chair. You can have it!” She then gave Pete and Sam - whom she first met on the Pride of Britain red carpet - a card on which she had hilariously written ‘Happy Nothing Day!” on. “You have nicer handwriting than Sam and you are a better at spelling than Sam,” Pete joked - prompting Florrie to fall about laughing.

One person wrote: “Florrie has the most infectious giggle ever, the boys were just fantastic with her and so relaxed. Florrie is without doubt a fantastic force of nature and had the lads wrapped around her finger for sure.”
Another added: "As someone who has waited for an organ transplant before, I don't know where she gets her energy from? I can only assume it's pure excitement and then she'll crash when she gets home. Florrie brings a smile to everyone who crosses her path.”

Speaking of the charity, Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks previously told The Mirror: ‘Florrie is such an inspirational little girl, with so much heart, personality and positivity. I absolutely loved meeting her at the Pride Of Britain Awards and I hope the British public get behind Florrie’s very special fundraising initiative. Florrie really is – the Pride Of Britain.”
Former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson added: “I had the privilege of meeting Florrie on the red carpet at the Pride of Britain Awards. She lit up the carpet with her charisma and positive attitude. She has a quality in her that we can all aspire to and the fact that she wants to do good for other people with her charity, despite all she’s been through, is a testament to the kind of person she is.”
