Peter Kay has been seen for the first time in over 12 months.
New pictures of the comedian, 51, show Kay looking slimmer while walking in public. He wore a black hoodie and blue jeans paired with a black hat.
Peter sported a rucksack as he walked wearing his casual ensemble. The beloved comedian was seen heading toward his tour bus at The O2 Arena in London after a rehearsal for his upcoming shows.
The star, who is one of the country's most iconic and recognisable comics, has added extra dates to his 2025 and 2026 shows. He has previously discussed performing to audiences, especially to those in the capital - who he appeared to have a soft spot for.
Last year he said: "Audiences in London have always been amongst the best in Britain, plus I think seeing the show could be part of a nice weekend away treat. It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now."
Kay is the first artist in the world to perform a monthly residency at The O2, performing 45 shows which is the most played by any artist in the history of the venue.
Peter is best known for his shows That Peter Kay Thing and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, as well as Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. The comic's 2005 mimed video of Tony Christie's Amarillo raised money for Comic Relief and launched the song to number one.
In 2008, Kay co-wrote and appeared in Britain's Got The Pop Factor...And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice, a parody show poking fun at some of the UK's most popular reality competition shows.
Most recently, Peter lent his voice to Albert Mackintosh in the Wallace and Gromit franchise for Vengeance Most Fowl, released on Christmas Day 2024. Mackintosh had also appeared in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
