Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi took to her Instagram Story earlier this week to reveal that she’s a married woman as she celebrated her big news with fellow Shahs of Sunset alums Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Reza Farahan.
In a series of posts shared on her social media account, GG, 42, who welcomed son Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi, 4, in April 2020, was seen hosting a bash for loved ones, including MJ, 52, and Reza, 51, with her new husband, Dennis DeSantis.
“Based in the caption it appears GG is married!!,” Bravo and Cocktails announced on Instagram on November 11, along with a screenshot of GG’s post, which revealed that she and Dennis had “hosted [their] first dinner as Mr. & Mrs.”
The fan page also shared a second screenshot in which they said Dennis, who seems to have one daughter of his own, was GG’s “longtime friend” and included one of his posts in which he declared that GG was “still in love” with him after 10 years.
In the comments section of GG’s post, a number of her followers weighed in on her exciting news.
“Wow! Congrats newlyweds,” one person wrote.
“Oooh cat’s out of the bag!! So happy for you honey,” shared another.
“Wow congratulations … this is huge,” said a third.
During GG and Dennis’ party, Dennis shared a video of the festivities that featured GG’s former co-stars.
“[MJ] is doing stand up lol,” he captioned the clip.
As Shahs of Sunset fans may have seen, GG, MJ, and Reza have been tied to rumors of a potential reboot or spinoff of the series in the years since it was canceled. In fact, the trio was seen filming together in 2022.
“We were doing a new thing, because we did that show for such a long time and it’s just great that people still are interested and invested in our lives as we have evolved and changed so much,” MJ explained to Entertainment Tonight at the time.
A short time later, Reza confirmed that whatever it was that they had filmed had not yet been picked up by a network.
“We did shoot this other thing that TMZ reported about. We did some sort of other show with me, Golnesa, and MJ. We filmed one pilot and I think they have now an obscene about a time to decide whether or not they wanna roll with it,” he explained.
Shahs of Sunset came to an end in August 2021 after nine seasons on Bravo.
