A Massachusetts man was discovered to be carrying a gun after attending a tour of the U.S. Capitol and leaving the nearby Library of Congress on Tuesday, ABC News first reported on Thursday.
According to ABC News, authorities in Washington were alerted by police in Carlisle, Massachusetts, on Monday that a man, who reportedly expressed suicidal thoughts on social media and was armed, was traveling to Washington.
