It’s not surprising to see pastels on the spring runways. The soft shades return each year in updated iterations, and often a noteworthy shade that falls within the pastel color family. This season, of course, powder pink has taken that title—not only the most dominant pastel color from the spring/summer 2025 runways, but also the biggest color trend from the season overall. Because of that, we expect to see powder pink take over in 2025 and we are already seeing it appear in a significant portion of the new arrivals entering the market.
Powder pink isn’t the only pastel that we’re predicting to see on the fashion set in the coming months, however. As we see the pendulum swing away from quiet luxury and minimalism that took hold of fashion in recent years, we expect to see more color overall, including shades such as mint green, tangerine, robin egg blue, and butter yellow. If you’re interested to see how to wear pastel colors in fresh ways for 2025, see inspiration from the runways ahead.
