Details On Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Medical Emergency
On Sunday, Nov. 24, The Potter’s House released a statement after clips from the church’s livestream began making rounds online. The footage captured Bishop Jakes delivering a sermon at his Dallas, Texas, sanctuary when he suddenly lowered his microphone and looked down before appearing to convulse. The video continues to show that a group of people quickly rushed to the stage to help him.
Shortly after the video appeared online, The Potter’s House thanked everyone for their support in an Instagram post and confirmed that Bishop Jakes is in stable condition.
“During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour long message. Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community. Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers,” the official statement says.
At this time, it is still uncertain what happened to Bishop Jakes while speaking at his church in Dallas, Texas.
